Dana Ellis, LMHC

Hello! My name is Dana and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years experience providing mental health services on Long Island. I have had a unique experience in the mental health field working in various schools across Long Island as a mental health counselor, as well as creating and running individual and group therapy programs in both the educational and nonprofit settings.

At Kaleidoscope mental Health Counseling, I believe that everyone has the power to become the best version of themselves and to live their lives in full vibrant color, and that often times therapy can help to support that goal! Psychotherapy is a dynamic process that involves a meeting of minds where we will work together to help you meet your goals both in the internal and external realms. My primary goal in my sessions is attunement, or meeting my clients exactly where they are at and help them organize and understand themselves more deeply, in order to work towards becoming the best version of themselves.

I work primarily with neurodivergent populations and in particular I specialize working with anxiety, ADHD and autism spectrum disorder. My goal is to help each of my clients, no matter how young, realize their fullest potential.
